Our library provides a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and advancement of knowledge and promotes discovery.

The mission of library is to facilitate creation of new knowledge through acquisition, organization and dissemination of knowledge resources and providing for value added services.

Our library has a stock of books on science, languages, art, literature, general knowledge, encyclopedias, activity books, reference books, dictionaries, etc. It forms a silent haven for reading and concentrating.

We also provide state of the art computer lab equipped with the latest software and workstations.It is connected to internet through a lease line to facilitate high speed internet access. High quality servers are connected through a structured network.

The outdoor play area is designed with naturalized plants, trees, flowers, sand and also with a wide variety of play opportunities like, slides, monkey bars and see-saw.

For the children of the pre-primary section, a well-planned and safe play area ensures that the children get the physical exercise they need and keep them well occupied and help them stretch those growing muscles. Great efforts have been put in by the school to ensure our students have state-of-the-art turf ground.

Designated football ground, volleyball ground, basketball court and an athletic track provides students various opportunities to excel in sports.

Children play freely here on games such as carom, chess, table tennis, free play etc all of which are well-maintained.

The room is carpeted completely with foam interlocking mats to ensure no slips or nasty bumps. Even the walls are lined with cushioned bumpers so that even a little rough play does not end up in tears.

This indoor playroom is a source of immense fun for our children.

Here, we provide a nurturing environment for children to engage in the finest performing arts education.

We have experienced educators and professional performers, who provide our students with the very best in technical training and performance opportunities. Our teachers are well trained in music.

We have musical instruments like drums, keyboard, veena, mridangam, tabla, dholak , dappu, khanjari, kango, guitar, digital tanpura. We also have a music library which contains wide range of music related books.

Art & Craft form an integral part of our teaching. Besides drawing, painting and colouring various other forms of art & craft are also taught here such as origami, calligraphy, Warli painting, etc.

GVHS has a creative Art studio to nurture children to be innovative as it engages them in a process that helps in the development of their self-esteem, self-discipline, cooperation and self-motivation.

Art Exhibitions are held to display the exhibits of children in the form of Still Life Paintings, Pot Paintings, Glass paintings, Pencil Shading, Spray Painting etc.

The school has an infirmary dedicated to taking utmost care of student’s health and wellness. The school has an effective safety policy in place to take care of minor or major injuries or in case of sudden illness of the students.

The school also has ready transport available for any unforeseen incidents. The school has tied up with a well reputed private hospital.

School counselors work together with other certified teachers and professionals to increase opportunities for success in the lives of all our learners. School counselors provide guidance and counselling to all students in the school through activities such as:

GVHS has a well-ventilated and quite spacious convention hall with comfortable seating arrangements. This is the centre of attraction of the school.

The morning assembly, special assemblies, inter house competitions and major events of the school are organized here.

GVHS has designed a substantial conference hall with ample seating capacity to host major events and seminars. This multi-utility hall has the most modern audio-visual equipment for quality presentations.

It is the venue for faculty and students to make their presentations and organize seminars and symposia.

The students are shown educational movies and interesting documentaries here. Eminent educationists, litterateurs, academicians, career counselors, foreign dignitaries conduct seminars and guest lectures here.

It has a green room, centralized AC, Dolby sound system and an elevated stage. The stage has been specially built for plays and musical concerts.

The light system on the stage includes spot lights for increased visibility. It is a treat for all the students, teachers and parents who can enjoy outstanding performances on special occasions.

A child spends half of his time in school, so his diet at school is as vital as his diet at home. The options available to the students are finalized keeping in mind the nutritional requirements and the physical well-being of a child.

All the meals are prepared in a hygienic environment under the supervision of experienced catering personnel.
